Surrounded by the forest, on the edge of Øresund and Dyrehaven, lies Restaurant Den Røde Cottage.

We are surrounded by nature and use it as inspiration and ingredients in our kitchen and restaurant. We enjoy all that the forest has to offer and harvest, pickle, dry, and salt all our foraged goods throughout the year.


From June 2nd we open for our lunch service where we offer both a 3 course menu, snacks & caviar.

Our highly reviewed wine bar reopens June 2nd where our Sommelier has put together a magnificent selection of wines by the glass, that can be enjoyed on our terrace alongside light snacks, oysters and small dishes. The wine bar is open from Thursday – Saturday from 5 pm.For our evening service you can choose between our 2 menus of either 5 or 8 courses. Both menus start with 5 salty snacks and finish off with petit four. Our evening service is open Wednesday – Saturday from 6 pm.
